Designing offices from the way people work — delivering proposals that directly drive results

I am involved in all aspects of office creation, primarily across the Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Sendai areas. My role is to protect the quality of deliverables by reviewing estimates submitted by the sales team and managing projects from start to finish.

What I value most in office design is the perspective of starting from the way people work, not from the layout. Workstyles have shifted dramatically—from fixed seating to free-address offices and remote work—bringing new challenges such as reduced communication and fewer spontaneous ideas. Facilitation begins with the physical arrangement of desks and chairs, but it doesn’t end there. By incorporating ICT and DX, I strive to design spaces that naturally foster communication and collaboration.

As a professional, I strongly believe in not stopping at simply following instructions. Doing exactly what a client asks may get close to a perfect score, but it will never achieve a true 100—or exceed it. An office relocation is a major opportunity for a company, one that typically comes only once every two or three years. That is why I aim to deliver better proposals by applying a professional’s perspective, knowledge, and experience.

I find great fulfillment in uncovering underlying challenges through dialogue with clients and proposing solutions that begin with how people work. The most rewarding moments are when sales strategies and project plans progress exactly as envisioned and come to completion. Guided by the belief that changing the work environment changes the way people work, I will continue to pursue office creation that truly stands alongside and supports our clients.
