Volunteer Activities in Support of Areas Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake
[10th Initiative] Charity Lunch

As part of our new employee training program, a total of 23 employees organized a charity lunch for residents of the Kaisei Temporary Housing Complex, with the cooperation of Koshakuji Temple and the nonprofit organization Shiraume in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture.

The team prepared MEGA Group’s special chilled salad udon noodles and sata andagi (Okinawan-style doughnuts) for local residents. Blessed with fine weather, the chilled noodles proved so popular that a line quickly formed, and all 100 meals were sold.

All proceeds were donated to the management office of the temporary housing complex.
