"Volunteer Activities for the Great East Japan Earthquake
[14th Activity] Cleaning Activity and Charity Lunch"

June 25 and June 26, 2016
As part of new employee training, a total of 23 participants carried out volunteer activities for residents of temporary housing in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, with the cooperation of Kosekiji Temple and the NPO Shiraume.

On the first day, participants visited Okawa Elementary School in Ishinomaki City, and on the second day they conducted cleaning activities, including grass cutting, at Kaisei Temporary Housing. They also prepared and served rice cakes with toppings such as sweet red bean paste and roasted soybean flour.

We will continue to provide ongoing support activities for the disaster-affected areas.
