Volunteer Activities for the Great East Japan Earthquake [15th Event] Cleanup and Charity Lunch

June 22–23, 2017

As part of our new employee training program, a total of 34 employees participated in volunteer activities in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, with support from Kosekiji Temple and NPO Shiraume. The activities were organized to support residents of temporary housing.

On the first day, participants visited Okawa Elementary School in Ishinomaki City and toured areas affected by the disaster in Onagawa Town. On the second day, the team carried out cleanup activities (grass cutting) at the Kaisei Temporary Housing complex and prepared beef stew and French bread for residents to enjoy.

We remain committed to ongoing support for the affected communities.
